Caby Verzosa is an international development professional with extensive experience in the design, implementation and evaluation of change interventions in developing countries worldwide.  Her work on change interventions in various sectors integrated field-based technical assistance, learning and knowledge – sharing systems.  Core competencies include:  Conflict Management, Multi-Stakeholder Engagement, Coalition Building, Social Marketing, Strategic Communication, eLearning and Online Games.

Her extensive work in international development at the global, regional and national levels includes programs at the World Bank Group; at the Academy for Educational Development, Washington, DC; at the Asia Regional Office of the Program for Appropriate Technology in Health; and at Kabalikat, Manila, Philippines. 

Her work at CID includes the development of a new regional learning program ‘Mobilizing Multi-Stakeholder Action for Reform’ for the Asian Development Bank delivered yearly at ADB headquarters  since 2014. This course was adapted to address Nepal’s leadership challenges following the massive earthquake and delivered in Kathmandu in 2015.   She co-produced an online performance support tool for workshop participants.  She also co-facilitated a classroom demonstration of the learning program ‘Negotiating Strategic Change’ at the 29th Annual Conference of the International Association of Conflict Management held at Columbia University, New York City, June 26-29, 2016.  In 2017, she developed and co-facilitated a workshop on reputation risk management for 35 communication officials of a multi-lateral institution based in some 20 African countries.  She also designed and co-facilitated a ten-month leadership development program for 40 leaders from the private sector, academia, civil society and government in 22 countries.  

Caby Verzosa has a PhD in Intercultural Communication and Conflict Management from the University of Maryland at College Park (USA), a Master of Public Administration from the University of the Philippines, and a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcasting from the University of the Philippines.
